The room was spacious and homely. I loved the excellent breakfast with the tastiest scrambled eggs I've ever had! The sun terrace and garden area made for perfect relaxation spots after a long day. Just a heads up, though, it was a bit odd that the shower lacked any toiletries. thankfully, I brought my own! 😊

missingWrote a review on Jul 27proximity gastropubquality breakfast optionsparking frustration
The proximity to a gastropub just a short walk away offers a seamless dining alternative with quality meals. The breakfast experience stands out with well-cooked options, though lacking in variety for those avoiding a full English.
Rooms vary significantly. Some are snug and poorly lit, particularly those on the ground floor. The bathroom fixtures have maintenance quirks, such as loose shower mounts and inadequate ventilation, contributing to a musty smell. The parking situation is a hassle, often forcing guests to seek street parking after a long drive. On top of that, the provided toiletries are minimal and lack quality, leaving much to be desired. Lastly, the bar area feels cramped and doesn't have a cozy atmosphere for a late-night drink, which can be disappointing after a long day.

Beware the sneaky car park fees-who knew parking could be a workout? The entrance noise might just earn its own award for 'Most Dramatic'.

The room was exceptionally comfortable and clean, with a delightful shower that provided a refreshing experience. The staff impressed with their warm, friendly service, making my stay feel personal and welcoming. Access to off-road parking added peace of mind, though the fee may contribute to additional costs. Unfortunately, the limited vegetarian options at breakfast could be improved, as well as the overall dining experience, which felt slightly lackluster compared to expectations.

A Cozy Stay with Charming Touches
Our recent stay was delightful. The staff went above and beyond, ensuring we felt at home. The breakfast at the sister building was a highlight, offering a hearty start to our day. Just be mindful of the Wi-Fi signal. it occasionally dropped. Definitely a revisit next year!
